Real people I have coached, in their own words.

"When I started working with Robert, I wanted a healthy and toned body.

Working with him, I reached the goal that made me start training. I learned much more about movement, what it means, how to practice it, and most importantly, that quantity does not matter if quality and consistency are not on point.

What I found most valuable in his coaching approach was his respect for the sport, the seriousness in his approach, and his curiosity to help us when we did not master the technique. He tried to educate us, not only to teach and train us.

Strength and mobility sessions influenced the way I feel when running. Without strength and mobility we cannot build resilience in the joints.

What stayed with me was respect for the equipment you train with, not handling the bar with your foot, and putting the equipment back after the exercise. Grow gradually, do not increase too fast just to prove you can, and pay attention to technique.

If you are considering working with Robert, do it with full confidence that he will offer you what you need."

"When I first met Robert, I'd just started out on my journey as a CrossFit coach. I was at the very beginning, finding my feet, trying to understand what it really meant to coach well. In a space where some coaches treat it like a hobby or a joke, he set the tone for what it looked like to take the role seriously.

Watching him in action was a big inspiration. His professionalism, the standards he held himself to, and the way he approached coaching with seriousness and integrity really stood out.

What I value most about his coaching approach is his directness, delivered with sincerity and genuine care. His communication is clear, simple, and to the point. It cuts through the noise and gets results. With Robert it is grounded in authenticity, and for most people that is not just refreshing, it is incredibly effective.

Since working with him, I've gone on to become a successful part-time CrossFit coach and personal trainer. I've built a solid reputation, with clients and within the coaching community, and a lot of that is rooted in the example he set early on. His approach shaped how I coach today, holding high standards, staying professional, and treating the role with the seriousness it deserves.

What stands out most is his work ethic, and his unwavering trust and faith in God. Turning up consistently, putting in the work, and grounding it all in something bigger than himself has had a lasting impact on me.

If you are considering working with him, do it.

Robert brings professionalism, integrity, and real care to everything he does. He holds high standards, leads by example, and genuinely wants the best for the people he works with, in and out of the gym.

You won't just get a coach. You'll get someone who inspires you to raise your own standards."

"When I started working with Robert, I was a competitive swimmer. My goals were to get stronger and grow, physically and mentally. In the first month, I felt the difference in the water. My arm pull got easier and more efficient. I also started to like how I looked as I added muscle. The gym became a place to connect. As a teenager, meeting people and feeling part of something mattered.

Strength and mobility improved my pain tolerance. I used to get severe calf pain after a few kilometers of running. After training with Robert, that pain came much later, or didn't show up at all. I could run longer, and my recovery got quicker. Robert watched me run, pointed out my mistakes, and gave me clear cues with the reason behind them.

What stood out most was how involved he was. He made sure everyone knew what to do, and everyone who walked into his gym felt included, like family. When someone made a mistake, he stayed with them until the technique was right, without rushing and without making them feel bad. It always felt safe.

You could see his passion. It pushed me to be better. I still remember one moment. He competed on a team and took second or third place. People congratulated him, but he wasn't happy, because it wasn't first. That is when I understood something important. I must always ask more of myself. From that day I decided my biggest competitor is myself, and I don't need to please anyone else but me.

I've been back in the gym the last few months. My plan is four sessions a week. Sometimes I hit three, sometimes I reach five. The only thing that holds me back is my university schedule. Otherwise I'd go seven days a week. I try to keep the right dose for my life.

If you're thinking about working with Robert, go with confidence. From the moment you start under his guidance, it's hard not to be satisfied with the results. Whatever goal you have, I'm sure he'll help you reach it."

"After I stepped away from the life of a performance athlete, my goal was simple. A fitness routine that is not an obstacle in daily life, and to live as healthy as possible, even with constant challenges and entrepreneurial stress.

Working with Dobai, what I found most valuable was the consistency, the emphasis on correct exercise execution, and the way he combines all the necessary factors into one complete training day.

For me, the biggest change was learning to train the right way, without injuries. That made it easier to stay consistent and get the results I wanted. One piece of advice stayed with me. In sport practiced together with a busy professional life, ego does not have priority. Results come from a training session performed correctly.

In 2020, at the beginning of the pandemic when almost all gyms were closed, I was so motivated to continue his online training program that I decided to build my own training space at home. My own business is still developing, so my time is very limited, and I manage between 3 and 5 workouts per week.

Robert Dobai is the man who will offer you the solution for a healthy and correct life. He will open your mind to make sporting life a daily task, not a seasonal ambition. It is the scientific result, not commercial marketing."

"My first experience with sport happened because of Robert. He opened the door to a more balanced lifestyle. When I started working with him, my goal was to lose weight. Honestly, I was not serious in my approach, but this was the moment when a change happened in my thinking.

In the following years, I started physical training again, and I approached it with more respect. He influenced my love for sport and a healthier lifestyle.

What I found most valuable in his coaching approach was that if there was an exercise I could not do, he tried to replace the movement with something similar, focused on the same muscle group.

When I met him, my nutrition was all over the place. He helped me understand how important nutrition is, and how not to be obsessive with my food choices.

I would recommend Robert with a full heart, especially to those who are not sure of their physical ability. He focuses on quality, technique, and balance in every aspect."

Daiana Wolf

UX/UI Designer

"My initial goal was to train without joint pain, and then to become stronger.

What I found most valuable in his coaching approach was the seriousness, the fact that he makes no compromises, and his competence in injury prevention.

One piece of advice that stayed with me is technique before everything.

Working with Robert, I achieved a better physique, both aesthetic and functional. And most important, the ability to train alone, correctly and efficiently.

Currently, I train at home, 2 to 3 workouts per week. I learned to be consistent, and to set small goals that I can reach easily. I learned to find pleasure in movement, whatever it is. And most important, I learned what qualities a good coach must have. Truly good.

If you are serious, you will learn to move your body efficiently, safely, and for the long term."

"When I came to Robert, I needed an active lifestyle. I needed an environment with healthy people, and a place where education is essential.

What I found most valuable in his coaching approach was his attention to detail, and the fact that quality in what he does was important to him. I have not found that creativity and rigor anywhere since then.

What stayed with me were the group training sessions, where we encouraged each other and learned technique with the barbells. He was there for me 100% as a coach. And the advice he gave about the power of the mind stayed with me too.

Working with Robert, first of all I learned technique very well, and that is very important for me. I built healthy foundations in my fitness journey that I will use for the rest of my life. I still remember how important the details he gave me are, and I am deeply grateful.

I was also supported emotionally in the group. It was a very important, positive influence for me.

I recommend working with Robert with full confidence, because I know what I gained. Others can gain it too, and it will help them for the rest of their lives."

Catalina Mircea

Physiotherapist and NLP trainer

"I started working with Robert because I no longer had the motivation to keep doing my usual gym routine.

Working with him taught me how important it is to train the right way. A specific warm-up, the training itself, and most importantly, the stretching after.

What I found most valuable in his coaching approach was the seriousness and the professionalism, and also the fun and the good mood.

One piece of advice that stayed with me is that without perfect technique, you cannot move forward in training and keep a healthy body.

If you are considering working with him, do it. Robert is the best trainer, professional and dedicated."

Adrian Mihut

Engineer and father

"When I started working with Robert, I mostly wanted to lose weight and be more fit.

I definitely lost some weight, and my body looked more toned than ever before. I also felt relief in my ankles and joints, and it helped my endurance overall.

What I found most valuable in his coaching approach is that he pays very much attention to details. He makes sure we do the exercises correctly to avoid an injury, and at the same time he pushes us to the limit, so we can become better.

People ask me how he compares to other coaches. I haven't tried too many. I only chose the best.

The advice that stayed with me? Eat more salad. And eat less overall.

Today I train both at home and at the gym, usually 2 to 3 workouts per week, and it works well for me, because I also do yoga at home.

If you are considering working with Robert, I would definitely recommend it. His mindset, his attention, and his way of approaching things is unique, and for sure helpful to a lot of people."

"I train for longevity. That is what brought me to Robert. Working with him changed my mindset, and then it changed my physical shape.

What I value most in his coaching approach is his perseverance and his determination to help me reach my goals.

One of the first cues he gave me was to train barefoot, for better control and technique. That advice improved the way I move and the way I lift weights.

If you are considering working with Robert, don't hesitate. Start yesterday."
